A struggling writer met a nymph in the forest on the first day of autumn. They always meet in the violet fields, When the autumn season ended, the nymph and the writer said goodbyes to each other.
Fallen inlove with the nymph with no name, he tried to search the woods for the next three seasons for her, but to no avail.
One day, while he was reading his papers, a picture in the obituary made him strickened-ill. It was his long-lost forest nymph. The nymph was but an ill-bed lady who only at that time, had one more season to live.
